Scrap is a collective of artists, researchers, curators, poets, and rubbish enthusiasts.
We look to the ground to remember, to consider, to unearth. Each fragment is a treasure trove of memory and history, scuttling across the pavement, ours for the making. We pillage the cobbles for what we've discarded, making ruins out of coffee cups, artifacts out of crisp wrappers -- stories out of scraps.
The world's first ever curatorial scrap experience, the Pavement Museum seeks to engage us with our most easily discarded artifacts. The pavement becomes a display case for our everyday histories, and we allow ourselves to contemplate, excavate, and occassionally fabricate.
