A part of Howling Spoon, Performance K!tchen combines activism, performance, and the absurd with pay-what-you-can vegan meals prepared using surplus produce from Glasgow's greengrocers.
We've mumbled poetry, chopped potatoes, improvised with tea pots, sautéed aubergine, and broken vases.
We howl for every spoon who cannot howl for themselves. We have risen from our drawers to become cooks, activists, performance-makers, painters, sculptors, curators, collage-makers, poets, playwrights, and friends. As broth burps bubbles above a flame, we practice art and activism with a chaotic surface, pitting joy against power.
